Andrew is a Seattle-based lighting designer for theatre and dance.  He has designed with Seattle Repertory Theatre (Circle Mirror Transformation), Book-It Repertory Theatre (Cider House Rules Parts 1&2), Seattle Shakespeare Company (Electra, The Threepenny Opera), Washington Ensemble (Sextet, The Mistakes Madeline Made), Seattle Public Theatre (13th of Paris, Of Mice & Men), Theater Off Jackson, Azeotrope, ArtsWest, On The Boards, Velocity Dance Center and Broadway Performance Hall.  He has worked nationally at Horizon Theater Company, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Roust Theater, and Cardinal Stage Company.  Andrew received the 2010 and 2011 Gregory Award for Outstanding Lighting Designer, as well as a 2010 Seattle Times Footlight Award.  

A native of Savannah, GA, Andrew migrated to the Pacific Northwest in 2003 to pursue an MFA at University of Washington, where he currently teaches design in the BA and MFA programs.  He also holds a BA from Duke University.  Andrew lives with his wife and fellow collaborator, scenic designer, Andrea Bryn Bush.
